Peace

 
Because I tend to get most of my material from fallen trees, including fire pits or arborists, I sometimes do not know the species.  It might be something new I am working with, but nevertheless, it still surprises me when I look upon the material found within and the feeling it emanates.  This piece has a natural warmth and tone that brings me balance and peace when looked upon.  The lightness in the coloration and sweeps of the grain across the side of bowl are transcendent.
